Which locations use the RePEc sites the most? To answer this question, we look at the Google Analytics statistics for some of the most popular RePEc sites (IDEAS, EDIRC, RePEc Author Service, plus a few small sites).
Google Analytics is a very widely used tools that allows basic traffic analysis for web sites. One dimension that is available to webmaster is counts for specific locations, defined as those for which country codes exist. That means that some locations that are part of another country are singled out, such as Puerto Rico (part of the US) and Guadeloupe (France). Below we rank those locations based on statistics for sessions from June 2011 to June 2023 and “engaged sessions” (more that just loading a page and moving on elsewhere) since then.
