RePEc in September 2023

This month there are some news regarding NEP, the working paper dissemination project. Its Mastodon accounts have all been moved to a new instance and three new reports were opened: NEP-AIN (Artificial Intelligence), NEP-INV (Investment), and NEP-NUD (Nudge and Boosting). We counted 420,659 file downloads and 1,715,671 abstract views. We welcomed the following RePEc archives: Thammasat University, International Journal of Latest Technology in Engineering, Management & Applied Science, International Journal of Research and Scientific Innovation, and Modern Finance. And we reached the following milestones:
3,000,000 journal articles available in full text
20,000 links to research in blog posts identified on EconAcademics.

  1. Willy Schuettelbier says:

Most of my papers, which are published in well-known journals do not appear in “EconPapers” and there is no possiblitity to correct this failure. I wonder what kind of sense is behind this “concept”.

  2. EconPapers currently features 4068 journals. If yours are not indexed, encourage your publishers to follow these instructions.

  3. Willy Schuettelbier says:

So, you feature 4068 journals but not Elsevier and Duncker-Humbolt?

I think your implicit claim to show the publications of an author is a fake. Are you aware that this can have legal consequences for you?

  4. Elsevier indexes 176 journals, Duncker & Humblot 12. Please note that it is the publishers’ choice whether to index and what to index.

  5. Willy Schuettelbier says:

“Please note that it is the publishers’ choice whether to index and what to index.”

So you frankly admit that your lists of an author publications are – by constructioninal fault – incomplete?

In this case you have to inform the public that your presentation of an author’s work is most likley highly incomplete. Where do I find such a disclaimer?
